– My favorite season of the year of course is spring.

– Spring is a beautiful, surprising season of the year. The sky is blue, the sun is shining. In May, the trees are already green, there are many birds, flowers. It’s not hot yet, the weather is very pleasant. Spring is always the beginning of new life!

– Весна – прекрасное, удивительное время года. Небо синее, светит солнце. В мае уже все деревья зелёные, много птиц, цветов. Ещё не жарко, погода очень приятная. Весной всегда начинается новая жизнь!

– My favorite season of the year is winter.

– Моё любимое время года – зима.

– But winter is cold.

– Но зимой холодно.

– In winter the air is cold, but fresh. Winter is very pretty, everything is white, snow is falling. You can snow-ski, ice-skate, or go sledding.

– Зимой воздух холодный, но свежий. Зимой очень красиво, всё белое, идёт снег. Можно кататься на лыжах, на коньках, на санках.

– Do you know how to snow-ski?

– А ты можешь кататься на лыжах?

– Yes, I can snow-ski well, ice-skate fairly well, and of course I love to go sledding.

– Where do you go?

– Usually to the park or the forest. Russian winter is beautiful!

– My favorite season is fall. In the fall everything outside is very pretty, the leaves are red and gold, and there are many berries, mushrooms, vegetables and much fruit. I love to walk in the forest and gather mushrooms.

– Моё любимое время года – осень. Осенью очень красивая природа, листья красные и золотые, много ягод, грибов, фруктов, овощей. Я люблю гулять в лесу и собирать грибы.

– But it frequently rains in the fall.

– I love the rain. “Nature never has bad weather”.
