И, наконец, в некоторых ветхозаветных отрывках приводятся целые списки ссылок на события Ветхого Завета. В 1 Пар. 16, 16–22, например, мы находим краткий обзор истории и деяний патриархов за период в несколько десятилетий. Хотя в Паралипоменоне нет полного описания этих событий, как в Бытии, к самим историям не прибавлено ни одного лишнего слова. Авторы Паралипоменона исходили из того, что читателю известны все эти события.[166] Столь очевидные аллюзии на всем известные события доказывают, что авторы Писания хорошо знали Писание. Об этом знании свидетельствует каждая страница Ветхого Завета.
