The modern world has a desperate shortage of dreams. Against this background the three global powers are now engaged in tug of war: the US, China and Russia. Some more forces are still in ambush. These are India, Turkey and Iran. The problem is that no one has a new vision of the future, suitable for the XXI century.

United States continue to want to dominate. But why? America won the Cold war and became the master of the world in 1991. And what did it get her? The degradation of the population? The drop in the level of education? Games of all kinds and idleness finally have been the true results of the Pyrrhus victory.

Gambling instead of hard working and the lust for easy riches gave birth to a deep crisis of the entire economic system of the West. It all looks like Romeʹs period of decline. The lack of competition and of the incentive to keep yourself in a good shape are killing America faster than the former confrontation with the USSR.

It is important that all these social diseases are constantly progressing.

I and many other people in Russia clearly understand that the US sanctions for Russia are not a punishment for the Crimea, but perform as a penalty for the transmission of the far Eastern territories of Russia under Chinese jurisdiction, never mind in whatever way it is decorated. Our Siberia and the Far East is the territory of the development of the new century, and America would like to keep it for itself.

Yes, the US won the cold war, but what were the certain high projects and plans those were implemented jointly by America and Russia in the beginning of this century?

What more did America for a celebration of its lifestyle in Russia, in addition to the permission for a handful of compradors to plunder our country and to take the revenue to the West, freezing at their accounts, in luxuries and football clubs? Should we consider, that the major result of the victory of the United States in the Cold war has become a trivial robbery in uranium transaction «Gore-Chernomyrdin» and the transformation of Russia into a raw materials appendage of the West? Did the creators among the Russian people have not found a better application?

Letʹs speak on China, which has become the global factory through the US-China agreements of 1971–1978 years, but till now has not got its own project. New silk road can be a trade and logistics device, but not a dream. The West made China the worldʹs major factory, however it did not simultaneously solve the corresponding pollution problem and did not weaken the dependence and strong relationship between Chinaʹs economy and external markets. At the moment China demonstrates its own plans of external takeovers those can cause a sharp conflict with the United States of America, Russia or India in Eurasia.

The general mistake of most of modern politicians is their intention to solve their native countryʹs problems at another partyʹs expense. It is impossible in the global world. No, it doesnʹt work any longer. Nowadays when Europe sneezes, the US measure the temperature, China wraps and Russia runs to the doctor.

We face common problems. The desire of North America to isolate itself from difficulties of Russia and China, and Vice versa, will only lead to the fact that other peopleʹs problems are attacking us with a vengeance.

In the new age we all face the cult of consumption, which begets the problem of waste and environmental pollution. This is a global challenge, as the safety of nuclear power and the availability of cheap electricity in General. Everything depends on the cheap energy: starting with heating, lighting, the provision of clean water, transport and in general all the infrastructure of modern urban agglomerations and finishing with the networks and IT of financial markets, the Internet and space stations.

We should elaborate common decisions for the whole world.

People in the new century in all our countries need a new dream. Dreams of the XX century were the vehicles, Aeronautics, computers and the Internet. Dream of the XXI century might be the Space. I am more than convinced that the future is not in confrontation or bilateral alliances of the United States, China, India, Mideast countries, Europe or Russia, but in the formation of the Union. Only the Strategic Union of our countries is able to create a real engine for the society of the future.

The unionʹs main task is not to solve everything for everyone, but to take the first step. We must move in a different paradigm. These are not the presidents who determine the future, these are the ideas. Who has ideas on how to deal with the energy problem? Someone might have the right vision of the future of man and the structure of his needs. We have to go from ideas. And we must reject any attempt to parasitize at the expense of someone in our global world.
