Анна Лембке – професорка психіатрії й наркології медичного факультету Стенфордського університету та директорка Стенфордської клініки подвійної діагностики. Отримала численні нагороди за видатні дослідження у галузі психічних захворювань, за високі досягнення у викладацькій діяльності, а також за клінічні інновації в лікуванні. Як науковиця-клініцистка, Анна Лембке опублікувала понад 100 рецензованих робіт, розділів книжок і коментарів у престижних виданнях, як-от New England Journal of Medicine та The Journal of the American Medical Association. Вона є авторкою книжки про епідемію рецептурних препаратів «Торговці наркотиками. Як лікарі лишилися в дурнях, пацієнти стали залежними й чому це так важко зупинити» (Drug Dealer, MD. How Doctors Were Duped, Patients Got Hooked, and Why It’s So Hard to Stop). Анна Лембке входить до складу декількох місцевих і загальнонаціональних організацій, зосереджених на проблемі зловживання. До того ж вона давала свідчення перед різними комітетами Палати представників і Сенату США, регулярно виступає з доповідями, а також веде успішну клінічну практику.
