1167(?) Рождение Тэмуджина (Чингисхана). Различные источники называют дату его рождения между 1155 и 1167 гг.
1174 Помолвка Тэмуджина и Бортэ, дочери Дай-Сечена из рода Унгират. Есугей (отец Чингисхана) отравлен татарами.
1180 Тэмуджин убивает сводного брата Бэктэра, после чего попадает в плен к тайджиутам.
1183/84 Бортэ похищают меркиты. Вызволить ее помогают Тоорил и Джамуха. Что немаловажно, старший сын Чингисхана – Джучи рождается вскоре после освобождения матери.
