Нос Рембрандта

Магдалена, мать Титии, скончалась через девять дней. Тития выросла, вышла замуж за амстердамского ювелира и умерла в 1710-х годах. Корнелия, ее тетя, в шестнадцать лет стала женой живописца Корнелиса Сейтхофа. Вскоре после свадьбы они с мужем отправились на корабле в Батавию (столицу Нидерландской Индии на острове Ява; ныне Джакарта), где, не найдя достаточного количества заказов на картины, Сейтхоф зарабатывал службой тюремщика. В Юго-Восточной Азии у них родились два сына – Хендрик и Рембрандт.
