Мой народ, еврейский народ, всегда и при любой возможности говорил, что за то, что в Европе делали нацисты, ответственны все, потому что нацистам удалось это только благодаря молчанию всех остальных. Когда придет день, когда израильские генералы и политики будут вынуждены дать отчет за их действия на оккупированных территориях и в других местах, я буду, по крайней мере, знать, что я не молчал.

Для любого, кто имеет понятие о военной стратегии, ясно, что Израиль, даже если он сможет победить своих арабских соседей в ограниченной локальной войне, не сможет их уничтожить или принудить к полной капитуляции. Пока тлеет неразрешенный конфликт, особенно такой, в котором Израиль однозначно выступает в роли агрессора, судьба страны предопределена, и ее разрушение – всего лишь дело времени. Для Израиля пришло самое время, чтобы начать дискуссию, а именно – дискуссию об его идеологии. Хотят ли евреи быть гражданами настоящей демократической страны или стражами «Крепости Израиль»? Им стоит лишь посмотреть на горы Израиля, застроенные древними крепостями, которые все со временем пали.

Иудаизм вечен, а сионизм – лишь эпизод. Израиль будет в безопасности, лишь став светским государством между рекой Иордан и Средиземным морем, государством, в котором все народы свободны и обладают равными правами.

Предоставим же Богу создание Третьего Храма.
