Революция сознания. Трансатлантический диалог

Способны ли мы начать двигаться вперед по-новому, в соответствии со «вспомогательной технологией», ради себя самих и, особенно, ради «третьего мира», как предлагает Э.Ф. Шумахер в своем прозрении «маленькое прекрасно»? Направление, которое мы должны избрать, очевидно; средства, понимание, даже руки, умы и сердца — все это уже есть. Чего же недостает? Нам надо отказаться от летаргии и дурной привычки, от менталитета козла отпущения, от предрассудков. Нам нужна определенная доля выдержки, а также добрая порция вдохновения. А еще нам надо как можно быстрее признать, какое глубокое удовлетворение мы испытываем, когда видим счастливых детей, когда по всему миру у нас есть друзья, которые нам доверяют, когда мы справляемся со своими страхами, когда нас захватывает радость творческого существования, когда мы узнаём новое, и какое воодушевление мы можем пережить, видя, сколь многого мы способны достичь для самих себя, благодаря самим себе, для других и для общего блага.
