Во многих случаях лечение идет медленно, с трудом, из-за чего владельцы часто не замечают улучшения. Весьма помогает предложенный выше дневник агрессивных столкновений с указанием интенсивности реакции и времени полного восстановления после инцидента (т.е. времени, которое требуется кошке для полного расслабления после конфликта). В случаях агрессии между питомцами, живущими под одной крышей, в дневнике отмечается время, в течение которого животные могут находиться в од-ной комнате, не конфликтуя. Запись количества приближений кошки без демонстрации враждебных поз и мимики полезна как показатель прогресса в случаях агрессии против хозяина. Кроме того, желательно сравнить видеозаписи, сделанные в начале программы лечения и 2-3 месяца спустя.

Следует настроиться на длительное и трудное лечение, но если оно не будет давать положительных результатов, его необходимо пересмотреть. Может также оказаться, что был ошибочен первоначальный диагноз.
