The author considered some circumstances connected with Anastas Mikoyan’s speech to the voters in Yerevan in March 1954. He reproduces two versions of it (a text transcription of the speech record and the official newspaper publication), in which there were significant discrepancies. The audio recording of the speech suggests that Mikoyan, for the first time, admitted the fact of unjustified political repressions against several famous Armenian figures.Keywords:
