 When he had eaten, he went on again till near sundown, when he saw the castle where his third sister lived. All three castles were near the sea. Neither sister knew what place she was in, and neither knew where the other two were living.

The third sister took her brother in (третья сестра провела своего брата в замок: «взяла ее брата внутрь»; to take /took, taken/ – брать; to take smb. to a place – доставлять, отвозить, отводить кого-л. куда-л.; брать кого-л. с собой куда-л.) just as the first and second had done (точно так же, как сделали первая и вторая /сестры/; to do /did, done/), telling him not to wonder at anything he saw (при этом говоря ему не удивляться ничему, что он увидит: «видел»; to see /saw, seen/).

They were not long inside (они недолго пробыли внутри) when a roaring noise was heard (когда послышался рев: «громкий шум был слышным»; roar – рев, грохот; to roar – реветь, рычать; гудеть, грохотать, шуметь; roaring – шумный, бурный; громкий; to hear /heard/), and in came the greatest eagle that ever was seen (и внутрь влетел огромнейший орел, какого когда-либо видели: «который был когда-либо видан»; to come /came, come/ – приходить, прибывать). The eagle hurried upstairs (орел поспешил вверх по лестнице; up – вверх по; stair – ступень; stairs – ступеньки, лестница; upstairs – наверху, на верхнем этаже; вверх /по лестнице/), and soon came down a man (и вскоре вниз спустился мужчина).

 The third sister took her brother in just as the first and second had done, telling him not to wonder at anything he saw.

“Who is that stranger there with you (кто этот незнакомец с тобой)?” asked he of the wife (спросил он у жены).

“This is my brother (это мой брат), who has come to see me (который пришел повидать меня).”

 “Who is that stranger there with you?” asked he of the wife.

“This is my brother, who has come to see me.”
