The sheriff rode his horse (шериф поскакал верхом на своем коне), and Little John ran (и Малыш Джон побежал), and they were soon at Robin's greenwood tree (и вскоре они уже были у дуба: «лиственного дерева» Робина).

«Here is the greatest one in the forest (вот самый великий в этом лесу),» said Little John, and he went down on his knee in front of Robin Hood (сказал Малыш Джон и опустился на одно колено перед Робином Гудом).
