[40] He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.	народ сей ослепил глаза свои и окаменил сердце свое, да не видят глазами, и не уразумеют сердцем, и не обратятся, чтобы Я исцелил их.
[41] These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.	Сие сказал Исаия, когда видел славу Его и говорил о Нем.
[42] Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:	Впрочем и из начальников многие уверовали в Него; но ради фарисеев не исповедовали, чтобы не быть отлученными от синагоги,
[43] For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.	ибо возлюбили больше славу человеческую, нежели славу Божию.
[44] Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.	Иисус же возгласил и сказал: верующий в Меня не в Меня верует, но в Пославшего Меня.
[45] And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.	И видящий Меня видит Пославшего Меня.
[46] I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.	Я свет пришел в мир, чтобы всякий верующий в Меня не оставался во тьме.
[47] And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.	И если кто услышит Мои слова и не поверит, Я не сужу его, ибо Я пришел не судить мир, но спасти мир.
[48] He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.	Отвергающий Меня и не принимающий слов Моих имеет судью себе: слово, которое Я говорил, оно будет судить его в последний день.
[49] For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.	Ибо Я говорил не от Себя; но пославший Меня Отец, Он дал Мне заповедь, что сказать и что говорить.
[50] And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.	И Я знаю, что заповедь Его есть жизнь вечная. Итак, что Я говорю, говорю, как сказал Мне Отец.
Chapter 13	Глава 13
[1] Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.	Перед праздником Пасхи Иисус, зная, что пришел час Его перейти от мира сего к Отцу, явил делом, что, возлюбив Своих сущих в мире, до конца возлюбил их.
[2] And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;	И во время вечери, когда диавол уже вложил в сердце Иуде Симонову Искариоту предать Его,
[3] Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;	Иисус, зная, что Отец все отдал в руки Его, и что Он от Бога исшел и к Богу отходит,
[4] He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.	встал с вечери, снял с Себя верхнюю одежду и, взяв полотенце, препоясался.
[5] After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.	Потом влил воды в умывальницу и начал умывать ноги ученикам и отирать полотенцем, которым был препоясан.
