Толкование книг Нового Завета Иакова

Только благодаря смерти Христа мы можем обрести прощение грехов наших (Еф. 1:7; 2:8-9). Бог ввергает в пучину морскую грехи верующих (Мих. 7:19), удаляет от них беззакония их так далеко, как далеко восток от запада (Пс. 102:12).

Всем верующим Господь даровал служение примирения заблудших душ с Собой. Когда свидетельства указывают на неистинность веры исповедального христианина, истинные христиане, сознавая ужасную угрозу, нависшую над ним, должны поставить себе целью обратить его от греха к истинной, спасающей вере в Бога.

Такое поведение будет свидетельствовать об их мудрости, ибо «мудрый привлекает души» (Пр. 11:30).
