To wear something, помимо значения «носить что-либо постоянно» (очки, бороду, усы), также означает «иметь на себе надетым, отправляясь куда-либо».) 6. “When did you last wear this fur coat, Madam?” “If I remember correctly, I didn’t wear it this winter.” 7. “When did you last hear from your brother?” “If I remember correctly, his last letter came at the end of May.” 8. “When did you last eat something?” “I don’t remember.” 9. “When did you first feel sick?” “I felt the first symptoms about two days ago.” 10. “When did you first meet that woman?” “I met her at my brother’s wedding.” 12. “When did you first hear this story?” “I heard it the other day at a party.” (The other day – устойчивое словосочетание с обязательным определенным артиклем.) 11. “When did you first hear this name?” “I heard it the other day at a party. Somebody mentioned it in a conversation.”
