'Serpent!' screamed the Pigeon.

'Well! What are you?' said the Pigeon. 'I can see you're trying to invent something!'

'I—I'm a little girl (я маленькая девочка),' said Alice, rather doubtfully (сказала Алиса, довольно нерешительно), as she remembered the number of changes she had gone through that day (ведь она помнила то количество превращений, через которые она прошла в тот день).
