Пожалуй, Интернет станет для доллара конечной остановкой. Когда вся страна опутана электронными деньгами — денежными карточками, кредитными карточками, чип-картами, прямым списанием, автоматическими переводами — наличные однажды станут уделом малоимущих. Величественность и великолепие доллара обернутся фикцией, скорее зрелищем, нежели хлебом: безвкусным гламуром для бедняков и дряхлых стариков. Ибо все остальные, то есть мы, будут подобны английской королеве, которая славится тем, что ей не приходится прикасаться к деньгам.
