They tap at the window (они стучат в окно), and laugh (и смеются). They whisper into my ears (они шепчут в мои уши) the tale of their perilous joys (рассказы об их опасных радостях). They tempt me with temptations (они искушают/прельщают меня искушениями; to tempt — уговаривать; соблазнять), and when I would pray (а когда я молюсь) they make mouths at me (они строят мне рожи; to make mouths at smb. — строить рожи, гримасничать, mouth — рот, уста). They are lost (они заблудшие/падшие), I tell thee (говорю я тебе), they are lost (они заблудшие). For them there is no heaven nor hell (потому что для них нет ни рая, ни ада), and in neither shall they praise God's name (и ни там, ни там = ни в раю, ни в аду не будут они славить имя Господне; to praise — хвалить; прославлять).'
