Was not round him a cloak of gold tissue (и не был ли он закутан: «на было ли вокруг него» в плащ из золотой парчи) broidered with stars (расшитый звездами)?'

'Truly (верно),' answered the Woodcutter (ответил Дровосек), 'it was even as thou sayest (все было точно так, как вы говорите; thou sayest = you say).'
