Had they her skin (разве у них была ее кожа), her laugh (ее смех), her foot (нога), her hand (рука), her touch (прикосновение)? She never had a speck of dirt on her (на ней никогда не было ни пятнышка грязи; speck – пятнышко; крупица, частица): I tell you her flesh was a perfume (говорю вам, ее тело благоухало; flesh – тело, плоть; perfume – благоухание, аромат; духи). When she embraced me (когда она обнимала меня), her arms folded round me like the wings of angels (ее руки смыкались вокруг меня, точно крылья ангелов; to fold – складывать/ся/, сгибать/ся/; заворачивать; обнимать); and her smile covered me softly with its light like the sun in heaven (ее улыбка мягко окутывала меня светом, будто солнце в небе; to cover – покрывать, накрывать).
