On the second morning after this happy day (на второе утро = на утро второго дня после этого счастливого дня), the Lady Rowena was told (леди Ровене сообщили) that a young woman had come to see her (что какая-то молодая женщина пришла повидать ее). "What does this mean (что это значит)?" asked Rowena. "Why are you doing this (почему вы это делаете)?"

"Because to you, Lady of Ivanhoe (потому что вам, леди Айвенго)," replied Rebecca, getting up again (ответила Ревекка, снова поднимаясь), "I can show how grateful I am to Wilfred of Ivanhoe (я могу показать, насколько я благодарна Уилфриду Айвенго).
