"What, Rodya, you are going already?" Pulcheria Alexandrovna asked in dismay.	- Как, Родя, ты уж уходишь? - даже с испугом спросила Александровна.
"At such a minute?" cried Razumihin.	- В такую-то минуту! - крикнул Разумихин.
Dounia looked at her brother with incredulous wonder.	Дуня смотрела на брата с недоверчивым удивлением.
He held his cap in his hand, he was preparing to leave them.	В руках его была фуражка; он готовился выйти.
"One would think you were burying me or saying good-bye for ever," he said somewhat oddly.	- Чтой-то вы точно погребаете меня али навеки прощаетесь, - как-то странно проговорил он.
He attempted to smile, but it did not turn out a smile.	Он как будто улыбнулся, но как будто это была и не улыбка.
"But who knows, perhaps it is the last time we shall see each other..." he let slip accidentally.	- А ведь кто знает, может, и последний раз видимся, - прибавил он нечаянно.
It was what he was thinking, and it somehow was uttered aloud.	Он было подумал это про себя, но как-то само проговорилось вслух.
"What is the matter with you?" cried his mother.	- Да что с тобой! - вскрикнула мать.
"Where are you going, Rodya?" asked Dounia rather strangely.	- Куда идешь ты, Родя? - как-то странно спросилаДуня.
"Oh, I'm quite obliged to..." he answered vaguely, as though hesitating what he would say.	- Так, мне очень надо, - ответил он смутно, как бы колеблясь в том, что хотел сказать.
But there was a look of sharp determination in his white face.	Но в бледном лице его была какая-то резкая решимость.
"I meant to say... as I was coming here... I meant to tell you, mother, and you, Dounia, that it would be better for us to part for a time.	- Я хотел сказать... идя сюда... я хотел сказать вам, маменька... и тебе, Дуня, что нам лучше бы на некоторое время разойтись.
I feel ill, I am not at peace.... I will come afterwards, I will come of myself... when it's possible.	Я себя нехорошо чувствую, я не спокоен... я после приду, сам приду, когда... можно будет.
