For four days the people danced and sang in the public square. Nah-chu-ru-chu was happy again; and now the rain began to fall. The choked earth drank and was glad and green, and the dead crops came to life.

They went up to the edge of the llano (они подошли к краю льяно /равнины/), and there she let them get a glimpse of the pretty hoop (и там она показала им красивый обруч; glimpse — мимолетное впечатление; беглый взгляд, беглое знакомство).
