So the dogs came to understand that when the team stopped by order, White Fang was to be let alone.	И собаки поняли наконец, что, если сани останавливаются по приказанию Мит-Са, вожака лучше не трогать.
But when White Fang stopped without orders, then it was allowed them to spring upon him and destroy him if they could.	Но если Белый Клык останавливался самовольно, значит, над ним можно было чинить расправу.
After several experiences, White Fang never stopped without orders.	Вскоре Белый Клык перестал останавливаться без приказания.
He learned quickly.	Такие уроки усваиваются быстро.
It was in the nature of things, that he must learn quickly if he were to survive the unusually severe conditions under which life was vouchsafed him.	Да Белый Клык и не мог не усваивать их, иначе он не выжил бы в той суровой среде, которую уготовила ему жизнь.
