"So Herbert and Clara say, but I don't think I shall, Biddy.	- То же самое говорят мне и Герберт с Кларой, но я навряд ли женюсь, Бидди.
I have so settled down in their home, that it's not at all likely.	Я так прижился у них, что где уж там.

"Dear Pip," said Biddy, "you are sure you don't fret for her?"	- Милый Пип, - промолвила Бидди, - ты уверен, что не тоскуешь по ней?
"O no,-I think not, Biddy."	- Ну конечно... кажется, уверен, Бидди.
"Tell me as an old, old friend.	- Скажи мне, как старому другу.
Have you quite forgotten her?	Ты совсем ее забыл?
"My dear Biddy, I have forgotten nothing in my life that ever had a foremost place there, and little that ever had any place there.	- Дорогая Бидди, я не забыл ничего, что было значительного в моей жизни, я вообще почти ничего не забыл.
