Мы в 40 лет –  тра-та –Живем, как дети:Фантазии и кружеваУ нас в глазах.Мы всё еще –  тра-та –  та-та –В сияющем расцвете:Живем три четверкиНа конструктивных небесахкВ душе без пояса,С заломленной фуражкой,Прищелкивая языком,  Работаем,    Свистим.И ухаем до штата Иллинойса.И этот штатКак будто нам знакомПо детской географии за пряжкой.Мы в 40 лет –  бам-бум –Веселые ребята:С опасностями наобумШалим с судьбой-огнем.Куда и где нас ни запрятай, –Мы всё равно не пропадем.Нам молодостьДана была недаромИ не зря была нам дорога́:Мы ее схватили за рогаИ разожгли отчаянным пожаром.  Нна!    Ххо!      Да!Наделали делов!Заворотили кашуВсяческих затей.Вздыбили на дыбыРасею нашу.  Ешь!    Пей!      Смотри!        И удивляйся!Вчерашние рабы –Сегодня все –  Взъерошенный репей.      Ей, хабарда!На головах, на четвереньках,На стертых животах ползем.С гармошкой в наших деревенькахВывозим на поля назём.  Фарабанста!Мы в 40 лет –  ой-ой!Совсем еще мальчишки:И девки все от насСпасаются гурьбой,Чтоб не нарваться в знойНа буйные излишки.  Ну, берегись!Куда девать нам силы, –Волнует кровьСтихийный искромет:Медведю в бок шутяВтыкаем вилы,Не зная, куда деть40-летний мед!  Мы,Право же, совсем молокососы.Мы учимся,Как надо с толком жить,Как разрешать хозяйские вопросы:Полезней кто – тюлени аль моржи.  С воображеньемМы способныВерхом носиться на метлеБез всякого резона.И мы читаем в 40 летВ картинках Робинзона.И это наше детство – прелесть!И это наше счастье – рай.Да! В этом наш Апрель есть.Весна в цветах –    Кувыркайся!  Играй!  Эль-ля!  Эль-лё!Милента!  Взвей на вольность!Лети на всех раздутых парусах,Ты встретишь впереди  Таких же,У кого  фантазии    конструкции      в глазах.  Эль-ля!  Эль-лё!Мы в 40 лет –  юнцаи –Вертим футбол,  хоккей,    плюс абордаж.А наши языкиПоют такие бой-бряцаи, –Жизнь  за которые    отдашь!  Эль-ля!  Эль-лё!
