A felon.	Уголовный преступник.

This cell.	И камера.
This uncertain, threatening prospect so very terrible to contemplate at any time.	И смутная угроза впереди, о которой всегда одинаково страшно думать.
And then this letter.	И теперь - это письмо.

He got up and walked to his cell door to still a great pain.	Он встал и прошелся до двери камеры, чтобы заглушить растущую боль.
