II Rogers was standing by the dining-room door.	Роджерс стоял в дверях столовой.

"There is plenty of food, sir - of a tinned variety.	- Еды очень много, сэр, но все консервы.
The larder is very well stocked.	Кладовка битком набита.
A necessity, that, I should say, sir, on an island where one may be cut off from the mainland for a considerable period."	На острове, позволю себе заметить, сэр, это очень важно: ведь остров бывает надолго отрезан от суши.
Lombard nodded.	Ломбард кивнул.
