He said abruptly: "What d'you think of the weather?"	- Как вам погодка? - спросил он.
Glancing up at the sky, Blore remarked:	Блор поглядел на небо.
"Looks all right to me."	- Да вроде ничего.
Lombard pursed up his mouth into a whistle.	Ломбард присвистнул.
He said: "It will come on to blow before the day's out."	- К вашему сведению, к вечеру поднимется ветер.
Blore said: "Squally - eh?"	- Неужто шторм? - спросил Блор.
From below them came the boom of a gong.	Снизу донесся гулкий удар гонга.
Philip Lombard said: "Breakfast?	- Зовут завтракать, - сказал Ломбард.
Well, I could do with some."	- Весьма кстати, я уже проголодался.
As they went down the steep slope Blore said to Lombard in a ruminating voice:	Спускаясь по крутому склону, Блор делился с Ломбардом:
"You know, it beats me - why that young fellow wanted to do himself in!	- Знаете, Ломбард, никак не могу взять в толк, с какой стати Марстону вздумалось покончить с собой.
