"There is your package on the seat," the waiter said.	- Ваш сверток на сиденье, - сказал официант.
He stood with the umbrella until we were in and I had tipped him.	Он стоял с зонтом, пока мы усаживались, и я дал ему на чай.

Pleasant journey," he said.	Счастливого пути, - сказал он.
The coachman lifted the reins and the horse started.	Кучер подобрал вожжи, и лошадь тронулась.
The waiter turned away under the umbrella and went toward the hotel.	Официант повернулся со своим зонтом и направился к отелю.
We drove down the street and turned to the left, then came around to the right in front of the station.	Мы поехали вдоль тротуара, затем повернули налево и выехали к вокзалу с правой стороны.
There were two carabinieri standing under the light just out of the rain.	Два карабинера стояли у фонаря, куда почти не попадал дождь.

I don't need thee."	Не требуется.
He went back under the shelter of the archway.	Он снова укрылся под навесом.
I turned to Catherine.	Я обернулся к Кэтрин.
Her face was in the shadow from the hood of the carriage.	Ее лицо было в тени поднятого верха.
"We might as well say good-by."	- Что ж, попрощаемся?
"I can't go in?"	- Я войду.
"No."	- Не надо.
"Good-by, Cat."	- До свидания, Кэт.
"Will you tell him the hospital?"	- Скажи ему адрес госпиталя.
"Yes."	- Хорошо.
I told the driver the address to drive to.	Я сказал кучеру, куда ехать.
He nodded.	Он кивнул.
"Good-by," I said. "Take good care of yourself and young Catherine."	- До свидания, - сказал я. - Береги себя и маленькую Кэтрин.
"Good-by, darling."	- До свидания, милый.
"Good-by," I said.	- До свидания, - сказал я.
I stepped out into the rain and the carriage started.	Я вышел под дождь, и кучер тронул.
Catherine leaned out and I saw her face in the light.	Кэтрин высунулась, и при свете фонаря я увидел ее лицо.
